The representatives of the partner organizations conceived and designed the BGTIME concept and submitted it as our proposal for the Knight Community Information Challenge. Once the grant was awarded, the representatives became the BGTIME Advisory Board and have continued to work together to implement and oversee the project.

Senior citizens in our community have much to contribute to the civic dialogue. However, many seniors lack the skills and opportunities necessary to use all the tools available to them to tell their stories.
