The Helmet Liner Project is about a knitting project that benefits our armed forces. Because soldiers are issued polyester helmet liners that melt when they get too hot, people are sending wool liners. The soldiers are also in need of scarves and other items. In the video, Ms. Mock demonstrates how to knit a helmet liner and discusses what colors to use as well as where to mail the completed liners.
