Meet Jane Mays

Jan Mays is a native of Columbia, South Carolina, and has lived in many places across the world. Her husband was a naval officer in the Korean War and during this time they lived in Germany and France. After his service, Mays and her husband returned to Greenwood, South Carolina and raised three sons together. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, she worked in public relations and fundraising for the American Red Cross. Her interests include tennis, swimming, skiing and traveling. She found the Greek Islands most appealing and Machu Picchu in Peru the most exotic.
