Meet Brusi Alexander

LaBruce Alexander.jpgBrusi Alexander became involved in environmental issues after moving back to Columbia in her adulthood. She served as the executive director of the Nature Conservancy of South Carolina for twelve years. Prior to this position, she worked as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of South Carolina and as an editor at a publishing company in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. In her free time, Alexander works with her rescue animals and various other causes and enjoys gardening. She is currently President of the Capitol Senior Center Board and serves with Friends of the Congaree Swamp, Sustainable Midlands, the League of Women Voters and Columbia Council for Internationals.
