Meet Ellen Wright

Ellen Wright.jpgEllen Wright is native of the Lowcountry, but has lived most of her adult life with her husband in Colum-bia, South Carolina. She received her education at Winthrop College (now Winthrop University) and the University of South Carolina, and worked as a secretary until just before the birth of her first child. Wright has two sons, three grandsons and six step-grandchildren. She has been active in her church and volunteered for fifteen years at Harvest Hope Food Bank. Wright wants to help those in need around the world and assists agencies in Africa, Asia and Europe. Wright enjoys reading and gardening and is looking forward to becoming better equipped to function in this technological age.
