Meet Madge Major
Madge Major is a native Columbian who graduated from Converse College and received a certificate in physical therapy from Columbia University in New York. She worked as a physical therapist in the old Columbia Hospital in the late forties and early fifties during the polio epidemic. Major has volunteered with Meals on Wheels and the Bethlehem Community Center. She enjoys leading sing-a-long programs for senior groups and playing the three chords she knows on her guitar. She is a charter member of Trenholm Road United Methodist Church and lives at Still Hopes.
