Meet Susan Appenzeller

Susan Appenzeller.jpgSusan Appenzeller is proud to call herself an "Army Brat" having grown up all over the world. She graduated from The Woman's College of the University of North Carolina, majoring in theater. Appenzeller worked as a teacher for a few years before she went back to school and received her Master's degree in Social Work. She retired from Hall Institute, which provided adult and adolescent psychiatry treatment. Appenzeller has five grandchildren with whom she enjoys spending her free time.

However, many seniors lack the skills and opportunities necessary to use all the tools available to them to tell their stories. The BGTIME program was developed to help bridge this divide between senior citizens and digital media. More
